Truth is lost

Searching, seeking, looking,

Where is our hope, our truth,

“I have it,” lies the heart,

“Just trust me, I have the answer.”,

That path only ends in despair.

“Here lies the truth” lies the mind 

“I have the truth, just believe in yourself, there is truth in that.”

Sorrow is at the end of that path. 

“Look here, my child, I have truth,” Christ gently speaks,

“But what if I get hurt again? What if you lie to me like the others?”

“My child, I always had the truth; you just weren’t looking to me.”

“My dear child, I love you. Your hope and truth is here with me, 

I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Hope in me, not the world.”
